The Return Of World Champions

Massa who sustained skull fractured last week during qualifying in Hungary GP spend few days in the intensive care, and has surgery on his injuries. He is expected to fly back to his native country Brazil to recuperation with his family. The 7th world championship - Michael Schumacher will be substitute until Massa is fully recover.

Schumacher has already begun preparing himself back to the race course. However he is not allowed to test drive the Ferrari machine - F60 due to the ban of testing, but they will be using an older car - F2007.

At the mean time, Renault is suspended from this race because Fernando Alonso leave the pits with a unproper wheel in last Sunday - the Hungary race. The terrible mistake made by the pit stewards was failed to secure the wheel and knowingly letting Alonso leave the pits. Currently, Renault is appealing the decison and if they fail, it means Alondo and Piquet will not be available in European race.

Renault ended contract with Piquet

It has been confirmed by Piquet that Renaul has terminated his contract with immediate effect which means we will no longer see Piquet driving a Renault in the race course for the rest of the GP eventhough if Renault successfully appeal from the ban.

Piquet's career life with Renault is rather short since 2008. He has endured a tough time this season but fail to score in the top 10 races.

Piquet was a test driver before he promoted to race driver. But his poor performance has lead him out from the team. However Piquet would like to defend himself by complaining the different treatment from the team such as shorter practice hour and heavier car load.

No matter what, it's a fact that Piquet is out from Renault and he is looking forward for another good step ahead of him.

Renault will be without their second driver for the time being but the replacement shall be arrived within weeks.
